Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress who is best known for playing Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS detective procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. Her role was praised by critics for her role as Eleni Anderson Cooper. This was her debut television appearance on CBS soap show Guiding Light. Her notable film appearances are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The actress is currently developing a movie adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. She is also filming for the upcoming show Gods & Heroes.
