Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She is a regular on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress as the actress Savitri in Mahanati, a Telugu film Mahanati (2018). In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She started her career as a child performer during the 2000s, and later returned to films after studying fashion design. Her debut lead performance in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began the first of her Malayalam projects and also began working in Tamil in parallel. While the film did not do well at the box office the film she made her debut in is A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in alongside Vikramprabhu. Due to her busy schedule in 2015, she could not choose but to pull herself out of projects on which she already began working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. Then, she worked on Rajini Murugan's Remo with two short film. Also, Dhanush and she played the lead roles on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. It was delayed since 2015 and reports suggest it would be released in September 2020, with the name of Janakitho Nenu. In the year 2016, Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
