Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for several years. She is well-known for the roles she played on television and films. She has a large following both on American and Canadian TV. At the age of Emily was twelve, she started to get attracted to acting when she visited her elder sister Katie at the location of one of her films. Emily began attending classes in acting and auditions following realizing she was passionate about acting. Her first audition was for commercials for a few minutes before getting a part on the Canadian television show for children Are You Are You Scared of Darkness? In one scene, she appeared without speaking any words. The actress got her first big break at 15 when she was cast as a regular character on The WB show Glory Days. Emily's performances caught the attention of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then cast her on his television show Everwood. Emily was also a photographer and ballerina was named by Teen magazine as one of the best actresses younger than 20. Maxim placed her at number 51 on its Hot 100 of 2014.
