The modeling began when she was 13 and she was awarded numerous awards. She made her acting debut at the age of fifteen when she portrayed Brianna in the film Holiday in the Sun. In Transformers she portrayed Mikaela banes alongside Shia LaBeouf. For this character, she earned a nomination to win an MTV Movie Award as well as three Teen Choice Awards. She received much attention for her performance in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen also won her Teen Choice Awards for two categories "Choice Female Hottie" as well as "Choice Summer Female Movie Star".
