Felicity is a British actress who gained fame for portraying Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at aged 12. She has worked as actress in numerous dramas, TV series, and films. Her first job was as a television actress with The Treasure Seekers. She then played the role of Ethel Hallow another television show called The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. Her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she starred in), Young Ruth, she went on to play in various other movies. Her acting career gained her fame for roles in movies like The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. The role she played on the screen in The Theory of Everything was what earned her her first Oscar nomination. Jones, who played Stephen Hawking's second wife this biopic, received lots of praise from critics and people who watched for how she played her. Inferno, an Tom Hanks thriller was her subsequent role. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her exceptional talent and contributions to cinema.
